Although short-term performance can be largely affected by news events, this can be easily offset through long-term trading using a small risk value.The key to using this EA is not to use too high of a risk value, don't be too greedy, and understand that risk is relative. I'm about to complete the first step of my prop firm challenge. The experience shared by Oceanic Tiger is invaluable, and I appreciate his selflessness. A low risk value is indeed very crucial. Let me add some of my live trading experience. "GBPUSD" offers high returns, but it also has higher drawdowns, approximately twice that of other currency pairs, which needs to be noted. The "maxDrawdown does not place orders and closes all positions(%)" function is extremely practical, seemingly designed specifically for passing the challenge. It's important to note that if your daily maximum drawdown limit cannot exceed 3%, you must set it to be less than 3%, for example, 2.8%, otherwise, it will exceed your set value before triggering. And if you don't have time to check your account every day, the "Reset Time for Order Resumption After Maximum Drawdown(hour)" feature is a lifesaver. Generally, setting it to more than 24 hours is fine, depending on personal preference and market conditions. Profit and risk value are always in opposition, if you want to complete the challenge quickly, you have to risk failing. If you want to increase the success rate of the challenge, it's best to be prepared for it to take a longer time. Actually, EA is just a tool, whether you can pass the challenge also depends on a bit of luck, after all, this is a disordered market. If a challenge could be passed 100%, it wouldn't be a challenge. However, an EA that trades like a seasoned trader, this is the first I've seen in many years. It might be genuinely using some advanced AI technology. Good job, developers.

I have passed the first step in my prop firm challenge. Here's a little trick worth sharing: I learned through consultation with the production team that the default risk value of 0.01 is not the minimum risk value. In fact, it is calculated as the minimum value based on the size of the free margin. Since the minimum order each time is a fixed 0.01 lots, 1000 US dollars corresponds to a risk value of 0.01, and 10,000 US dollars corresponds to a risk value of 0.001. For the 25,000 dollars account I use, the corresponding minimum risk value is 0.0004. Hence, the formula for calculating the minimum risk value is: 0.01/(available margin/1000). However, for a fund of 25,000 dollars, 0.01 lots are clearly too small. I tried a risk value of 0.001, and the results were good; I have now increased it to 0.003 and will continue to adjust in the future. I also found that as long as the risk value is fixed, the drawdown is the same no matter how much capital or leverage is used. The premise is that the calculated minimum value can reach the set risk value. In general,for prop firm challenge I suggest using a single currency pair below 0.003 or several different currency pairs at a risk value of 0.001 first. This is just my personal experience and I am still exploring. If hedging is not allowed by the rules, remember to turn off the hedging protection function. This EA does not rely on small pip profits, it's more like an experienced and savvy trader. The trade direction specification feature is also a very useful function for me.

I've been using this EA for quite some time now, and the live trading performance is fairly consistent with the backtesting results. It can be considered an excellent trading algorithm. Though there are times when the holding period is a bit long, this drawback is acceptable, as it doesn't engage in additional positions, making it very safe. I can confidently run it on a VPS.

As one of the earliest users to purchase this EA, I believe I have the right to comment on it. First and foremost, the EA's profitability is undeniable. When it was first released in May, it almost achieved 100% profit, followed by a large wave of news-induced market fluctuations. I have observed the top ten EAs, and almost all of them have significant drawdowns, particularly memorable was a signal from an EA that blew up and then disappeared. This EA was also affected, but what sets it apart is that it did not add positions or stubbornly resist market trends, making its risk entirely controllable. Some people might complain about the EA due to overly high risk values causing substantial drawdowns, but that's a personal choice; one cannot seek high returns without acknowledging high risks. The author has also been diligently upgrading the EA and continuously improving its performance, a rare quality compared to some EAs I used before that failed to improve even after reporting bugs. Now, I am using four currency pairs, each with a risk value of 0.02, and I have already achieved stable profits. The impact of the news market seems to have passed, and overall, it is profitable. I love this EA and feel I should contribute something to it since my previous account was blown up by adding positions and using Martin strategies. A relatively safe EA like this deserves to be developed further, and I hope the author continues to improve it, fully tapping into the EA's potential.
